The Role

 

We are looking for a Senior Manager, US Market Communications to broaden our Communications team as Genmab continues its rapid growth and transformation.

 

The Senior Manager will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of internal and external communications programs to elevate Genmab’s presence in the US. This role will require strong collaboration with the company’s Communications & Corporate Affairs function and across the company’s cross-functional teams to execute strategic and effective communications strategies and tactics.

 

This role is based in the Genmab Princeton, NJ office, and reports to the Senior Director, US Market Communications.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage US Market workforce engagement strategy, plan, and metrics that support US Market business objectives.

  • Collaborate with HR and Communications & Corporate Affairs to develop and execute internal communications for US Market that drive workforce engagement.

  • Support development and execution of leader communications, change management, and large workforce events (e.g., town halls) for US Market.

  • Manage the US communications channel strategy, with focus on the company’s US web presence and intranet, including editorial calendar management, content development, and digital strategy and optimization.

  • Collaborate with US Digital Marketing, Communications & Corporate Affairs, and Information Technology & Digital teams to foster a cohesive digital approach and seamless experience.

  • Support the development and execution of executive external speaking opportunities and media engagements to elevate the visibility of the company in the US.

  • Provide strategic communications counsel to members of the internal US Market teams.

  • Partner closely across the US and global cross-functional teams to develop and execute communications and ensure a consistent approach across teams.

  • Develop performance measurement reports to monitor the impact of communications tactics and offer analysis to inform future strategies.

  • Manage agency partner(s) and corresponding budget to support communications work.

  • Position includes approximately 20% national travel.

 

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree.

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in communications, content creation, and digital communications strategy, or equivalent advanced degree and professional experience.

  • Experience in business writing or writing for corporate audiences a must.

  • Corporate Communications and/or agency experience in the life sciences or healthcare industries a plus.

  • Prolific communicator with excellent storytelling skills, ability to communicate to broad audiences using traditional and digital assets.

  • Keen understanding of digital publishing and how to create content and tell stories for various channels.

  • Exceptional project and time management skills and eye for detail.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage multiple projects from conception to completion and seamlessly adapt to quickly changing priorities.

  • Strong relationship management skills and ability to work with people at all levels of an organization to complete projects.
