Mercy Clinic Joplin is seeking a full-time BE/BC Hematology Oncologist to join our well-established Commission on Cancer accredited cancer center in Joplin, Missouri (or at our clinic in Galena, KS 10 miles from our Joplin Center Center). Mercy Joplin is a beautiful five-year-old 240 bed hospital with integrated cancer center focused on individualized care for cancer patients.  

 

We are offering candidates a competitive recruitment and benefit package:

  • Join 3 Hem/Oncs, 2 full time Oncology Nurse Practitioners and 1 Radiation Oncologist
  • Nurse Navigators involved in cancer care, 4 dedicated oncology nurses in the office
  • 1:4 Call Schedule and 4-day work week
  • Position available due to physician retiring, quick practice ramp-up
  • CoC accredited comprehensive community cancer program
  • Call Coverage of only one hospital that is attached to the clinic!
  • Multidisciplinary tumor board on site weekly
  • Clinic is adjacent to Infusion Center with onsite pharmacy
  • Active Research program:  Clinical trials through the NCI and Guardian Research Network along with opportunities to open industry trials and write manuscripts
  • Teaching Affiliation with Kansas City University with ability to have medical students in clinic with a stipend
  • System wide EPIC HER
  • Leadership Opportunities available within Mercy
  • Most needed specialties integrated and onsite
  • Diversity of cases due to catchment area

  • 2-year guarantee of $600,000, $50,000 in Recruitment Incentives
