We are seeking a full-time board-certified hematologist / oncologist to join our growing program based in Riverhead, Long Island. The ideal candidate will either have a track record, or promise, of clinical expertise and academic accomplishments to facilitate delivering exceptional clinical care by participating in the Cancer Institute’s disease management teams, committed to the tripartite mission of clinical excellence, research, and patient care. Your career will blossom in our supportive and collaborative environment.

Our Riverhead location is at the base of Long Island’s North Fork – an area known for its award-winning wineries, pristine beaches, fertile farmland, fishing, boating, and laid-back feeling villages.  Located two hours from Manhattan, you will have the best of both worlds with easy access to the city’s rich cultural opportunities.  From your Riverhead base, you will be very close to Long Island’s South Fork, more familiarly known as the Hamptons, a string of seaside communities famous as a summer destination.  It’s marked by long stretches of beach and an interior of farmland, towns and villages with 18th-century shingle buildings and estates hidden behind tall boxwood hedges.

Our state-of-the-art facility provides top-notch care for our patients as part of the Northwell Health Cancer Institute, which treats more than 16,000 cancer patients with access to the services of more than 200 Cancer Institute physicians in more than 25 sub-specialties. The Feinstein Institute for Medical Research is home to Northwell Health’s research and is an epicenter for scientific discovery and innovation, including basic science and clinical research in molecular medicine, genetics, oncology, brain research, mental health, autoimmunity, and bioelectronic medicine.
