Job Details

The Department of Radiation Oncology at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) is seeking a skilled, BC/BE Radiation Oncologist to work full-time at their hospital in Orangeburg, SC. This community-based practice uses a streamlined, multidisciplinary approach to provide high quality, compassionate care to patients in Orangeburg and the surrounding communities.

 

The candidate chosen for this role will be connected to MUSC’s Department of Radiation Oncology in Charleston via an affiliate faculty appointment, and will receive access to the division’s resources, as well as clinical support from the team at MUSC’s Hollings Cancer Center in Charleston, SC. Join a team of driven providers that is dedicated to making transformational cancer treatment more widely available to patients throughout South Carolina.

 

About the opportunity:

    Candidates must be BC/BE in Radiation Oncology One location – Mabry Cancer Center, located on the Hospital Campus Approx. 30 patients per day No emergent call On-site Lab and Pharmacy 2 Radiation Nurses, 3 Radiation Therapists, 1 Physicist and 1 Dosimetrist Well-established, collaborative team Equipment includes Varian Trilogy™, Eclipse software, ARIA® oncology information system, and CT Simulator with 4DCT capability. Community-based practice serving a unique patient population Providers have the opportunity to live outside the greater Orangeburg area and commute to work.

 

We will provide:
