At Mass General, promising new treatments are revolutionizing the future of cancer medicine.
The Massachusetts General Hospital Cancer Center currently seeks applications from board-certified or board-eligible medical oncologists/hematologists for a staff oncologist role based at one of our community hospitals in MA, ME or NH. While primarily focused in the community, this position will have strong oversight and connections to the Boston campus.
Interested candidates should have a record of success in the clinical care of hematology/oncology patients. Confidence working in a community environment, and dedication and willingness to participate in a multidisciplinary care setting are essential.
From a patient care perspective, candidates should be caring, compassionate, willing to involve patients and families in the decision-making process, and able to coordinate care with colleagues in various departments. The opportunity to further subspecialize in solid tumor and hematologic malignancies will be available.
