Hospitalist Medical Oncologist/Hematologist (full time)

Practice Locations: Central Florida, Citrus County, Florida Gold Coast, Lee County, Treasure Coast, North Central Florida, Sarasota & Manatee County, Tallahassee, Tampa Bay Region

Florida Cancer Specialists is currently expanding our team of general Hematologist/Oncologists in our hospital settings throughout Florida. We’re currently hiring full time weekday or weekend Board Certified/Eligible Hospitalists. This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic team committed to providing superior patient and community centered care.

Position Review

  • Hospitalists work in partnership with our multi-disciplinary clinic team and clinicians at area hospitals to deliver high-quality, personalized care to FCS patients during inpatient stays.
  • Team based setting, with APP support
  • Inpatient consults at contracted community-based area hospitals
  • Responsibilities will include managing both malignant cancers, and benign hematology diagnosis
  • Opportunity to participate in research and clinical trials
  • Ideal candidates will have an excellent clinical skill and demonstrate effective communication and teamwork skills
