Medical Oncologist/Hematologist, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute - South Shore and Milford

Dana-Farber Cancer Institute (DFCI) is seeking board certified/board eligible Medical Oncologists/Hematologists to join our expanding practices at the Dana-Farber/Brigham and Women’s Cancer Center in Clinical Affiliation with South Shore Hospital and the Dana-Farber/Brigham and Women’s Cancer Center at Milford Regional Medical Center

The ideal candidate will have an interest and expertise in the clinical care of oncology and hematology patients, as well as participating in clinical trial enrollment.  The candidate should be personable, collegial and exhibit the ability to work effectively in teams. She or he will join a sophisticated practice of medical oncologists and advanced practice providers delivering cutting edge cancer care at DFCI South Shore and DFCI Milford in close collaboration with disease centers at DFCI Longwood, with opportunities to foster disease-specific interests within general hematology/oncology practice. Average call 1 in 8 with inpatient co-management by hospitalists & oncologists for coverage of hospitalized patients. Inpatient-focused positions on the co-management service also available.

These Dana-Farber and Dana-Farber/Brigham and Women’s Cancer Centers represent exciting collaborations between Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Brigham and Women’s Physician Organization, and the local hospitals/health systems. The Cancer Centers at South Shore and Milford house medical oncology, hematology, radiation oncology, surgical oncology, laboratory and imaging services in a state-of-the-art facility on the campuses of South Shore Hospital and Milford Regional Medical Center (both locations approximately 30-45 minutes from Boston by car).
