Faculty Position in Hematology/Oncology: Inpatient Hematology-Oncology Rounder
The Mass General Hospital Cancer Center (MGHCC) currently seeks applications from board-certified or board-eligible hematologists/oncologists for a faculty position emphasizing clinical care for hospitalized patients at the Mass General Hospital as well as our network hospitals, Newton Wellesley Hospital and Salem Northshore. Appointment as an Instructor, Assistant or Associate Professor, full time or part time at Harvard Medical School will be commensurate with experience, training, and achievements.

The selected applicant will join a highly functioning, successful inpatient team of nurses, nurse practitioners, resident trainees, and hematologist-oncologists at the MGH hospital. We value broad expertise in the clinical care of inpatients. Your role will encompass supervising responding clinician residents and advanced practice providers, covering both benign and malignant hematology, solid tumor, and patients with severe immunotherapy complications.

Our mission as an inpatient service is to provide comprehensive care to our patients and families, in order to meet their needs, as well as those of our interdisciplinary care providers. The inpatient team ensures the care is high quality and patient centered and collaborates to the highest degree while producing an evidence base to make that health care environment safer, higher quality, and more affordable. The role will encompass weeks of inpatient service at our MGH Boston location or at our network hospitals.

The position also includes operational responsibilities. We are looking for individuals with an interest in quality and process improvement, as you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of inpatient healthcare delivery. Women and minority candidates are urged to apply. Interested applicants are invited to submit their curriculum vitae to:
