Director of Neuro-Oncology Leadership Opportunity - Lead Our Visionary Team!

We are actively recruiting dynamic and highly motivated, academically oriented medical oncologists focused in neurology or oncology-focused neurologists at the Associate Professor rank for the Director of Neuro-Oncology role. As the largest, most comprehensive academic health care system in New Jersey, our integrated cancer care model offers access to advanced diagnostic and treatment options for adult and pediatric cancer patients. Opportunities abound for developing independent research initiatives and participating in a broad range of teaching initiatives with medical students, housestaff, and fellows. Rutgers Cancer Institute’s Neuro-Oncology Program specializes in the treatment of brain and spinal cord tumors including malignant gliomas (glioblastoma), non-malignant gliomas and other primary tumors of the central nervous system. The team of highly specialized experts from neurosurgery, radiation oncology, neuro-oncology, neuropsychology, neuropathology and rehabilitation medicine, among others, review cases in a formatted multidisciplinary approach.


Requirements: Must have MD/DO, ABIM or Neurology certified, completed a 3-year hematology/oncology fellowship, and have active/be eligible for NJ Medical License.
