The LSU LCMC Health Cancer Center seeks a Division Chief of Hematology and Medical Oncology. This role is for an innovative leader with a successful record of clinical excellence and research to drive progress in medical oncology and hematology. Exceptional emotional intelligence, communication, interpersonal, and partnership skills are required. The new Division Chief will steer the expansion of cancer programs, enhance collaborative research efforts, and shape a thriving academic and clinical environment. · Shape the future culture of a dynamic division by harnessing the diverse talents of a dedicated team during a transformative phase
· Lead physician and clinical operations with a focus on medical oncology, including steering program developments and innovations
· Be a key leader in the LSU LCMC Health Cancer Center in achieving NCI Designation, working with partners in the LCRC, and enhancing cancer care throughout the state
· Direct pioneering cancer research and community initiatives while spearheading recruitment and strategic expansion
· Manage and achieve the division’s financial objectives
· Elevate patient outcomes by championing the integration of clinical, translational, and health services research into everyday practice
