About the MultiCare Cancer Institute

The MultiCare Cancer Institute is a physician-led institute within the MultiCare Health System with multi-specialty partnership across hematology/oncology, radiation, surgical and supportive oncology service lines. We diagnose and treat more than 6,000 new cancer cases per year and span the state of Washington from Olympia, Spokane, Tacoma and Yakima. Our team and state-of-the-art programs create a world-class health care organization and the destination center for complex, disease-specific cancer care, advanced pathology and imaging support, and holistic supportive oncology care. We are growing to become the Pacific Northwest’s highest value system of oncology care, with a goal of doubling our cancer caseloads by 2028. 

Position Summary

The MultiCare Cancer Institute is seeking a full-time Hematologist and Medical Oncologist to join a strong and well-established program in Spokane, Washington. The Practice

  • Growing population of complex cancer disease
  • An established 350+ provider multi-specialty group with MultiCare Rockwood Clinic
  • Full time, flexible, 4-day clinical schedule and 1-day administrative work to take advantage of the countless activities in Eastern Washington
  • Research opportunities, both industry-sponsored clinical trials and investigator-initiated research, in collaboration with dedicated staff
  • Teaching opportunities are available if interested
  • 2-year annual salary of $470,000 with performance bonuses

Requirements

  • Board certified/eligible at time of employment
  • Licensed in the state of WA by the time of employment
  • DEA, NPI & prescriptive authority
