The Division of Hematology and Medical Oncology at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL is conducting a search for a Medical Oncologist with interest and expertise in sarcoma.  The ideal candidate would be an oncologist with clinical experience and skills and ambition to expand the established sarcoma practice at Mayo Clinic, FL, and is committed to developing, conducting, and supporting investigator initiated, or pharmaceutical sponsored clinical trials. The oncologist would also be expected to support the education shield at Mayo Clinic and teach the Hematology/Oncology fellows, medicine residents and medical students.

Our model of care involves a multi-disciplinary team (nurse practitioner, nurse and oncologist), as well as specialists from surgery and radiation oncology.  As Mayo Clinic is a comprehensive cancer center, our patients have access to comprehensive diagnostics and clinical trials through our phase I program, the phase II consortium, and national cooperative group studies.
