The Region

Philadelphia is one of the most historically significant cities in the United States and served as the nation’s capital until 1800. Philadelphia is the nation’s sixth-most populous city with a population of approximately 1.6 million.

Philadelphia offers a unique setting for an eclectic mix of modern lifestyles, mingling both the edgy and the sophisticated. History and art are pervasive in the city proper. Walking through downtown, you will likely spot murals and mosaics coating the sides of industrial warehouses and ivy climbing the walls of 300-year-old brick buildings. Culture is well-established in Philly, too, as evidenced by the array of art galleries, music venues and theaters.

Fox Chase Cancer Center is located in a residential neighborhood in Northeast Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on the border of Bucks, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties. The closest neighborhoods to the center are Fox Chase, Rockledge, Cheltenham, Jenkintown, and Mayfair. The area offers many housing options, including quiet suburban living and trendy urban neighborhoods, and housing is generally more affordable than in other major Northeastern cities.

Process for Application

Applicants must submit a CV and one- to two-page letter of interest including specifics about their interest in the position, and relevant experience. The letter of interest should include a brief research summary. Please direct any potential interest and/or nominations to Beth Ross – beth.ross@amnhealthcare.com
