Opportunity for Breast Medical Oncologist– Vassar Brothers Medical Center – 75 Miles from New York City
Vassar Brothers Medical Center, located in Poughkeepsie, NY, just 75 minutes north of New York City, is seeking an academically oriented breast medical oncologist, to join our expanding comprehensive breast program. Our hematologists/oncologists are an integral part of the overall strategy for the Nuvance Health Cancer Institute, which spans our larger 7 hospital system in eastern New York and western Connecticut. Our Cancer Institute is growing rapidly as we are expanding our clinical trial portfolio and positioning ourselves to be a destination cancer program in this region.
**$50,000 Sign on bonus/retention package plus relocation allowance is available for full time candidates.***
The ideal candidate will be a board certified medical oncologist with sub-specialty interest and experience in breast oncology, looking to join a highly capable team of established and respected hematologists/oncologists that cover Vassar Brothers Medical Center and Northern Dutchess Hospital. We offer a highly competitive compensation package, including base salary plus incentives and allowances for CMEs and dues expenses.
