Assistant Professor Positions - Cancer Research
The Dartmouth Cancer Center (DCC), Geisel School of Medicine and Dartmouth Health are seeking to jointly recruit junior faculty dedicated to pursuing careers in cancer research. Physician-scientists and clinician-investigators from all clinical specialties who are pursuing basic, translational, clinical or population-based research are encouraged to apply. Successful applicants will be appointed as Assistant Professors in the appropriate department at Dartmouth and become members of the Cancer Center. Protected time for research and generous start-up packages will be provided. DCC is an NCI-designated Comprehensive Cancer Center spanning all five schools of Dartmouth and Dartmouth Health, and supporting four NCI-funded research programs: Cancer Signaling, Genomes and Networks; Immunology and Cancer Immunotherapy; Translational Engineering in Cancer; and Cancer Population Sciences. Current scientific priorities include foundational cancer research; next-generation immunotherapies; innovation and entrepreneurship; precision cancer prevention; and therapeutic clinical trials. Successful applicants will hold an MD or MD/PhD degree and have completed subspecialty training in a cancer-relevant clinical specialty. We especially welcome applicants from underprivileged and/or under-represented in medicine backgrounds. If you’re ready to make a meaningful impact in cancer research, please contact Dartmouth.Cancer.Center.Jobs@Dartmouth.edu
