MedStar Health, is the largest health system in the mid-Atlantic area is seeking general Hematologists/Oncologists at three of our separate locations in and around Maryland and Washington, D.C. We are a nationally recognized not-for-profit organization, combining the best aspects of academic medicine, research, and innovation with a complete spectrum of clinical services to advance patient care.

  • DC Metro Region – due to expansion we are seeking another general, hematologist/oncologist in desired Montgomery County, where you’ll find a perfect combination of urban and suburban communities and be near Washington, D.C.
  • Join their existing teams of experienced physicians at MedStar Good Samaritan Hospital and MedStar Franklin Square Medical Center, both located in Baltimore. Live and work in a blend of city and suburban environments, and take advantage of top-rated educational opportunities from primary to higher education.
  • We’re also seeking a general hematologist/oncologist to join MedStar Southern Maryland Hospital Center, in Clinton, Maryland, located just 16 miles southeast of Washington, D.C and northern Virginia.

Our cancer centers are all affiliates of the MedStar Georgetown Cancer Institute and accredited by American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer. The Institute consists of eight of our hospitals with the Georgetown Lombardi Comprehensive Cancer Center as its research base.

Practice bread-and-butter hematology/oncology managing a wide spectrum of cancers at prominent community affiliates of an NCI-designated comprehensive cancer center. Collaborate with an expert multi-disciplinary team, including breast, thoracic and neuro- surgeons, surgical oncologists, radiation oncologists, genetic counselors, imaging (including PET), oncology nurse navigator, oncology social services, APP support, nutritionist, palliative team, oncology pharmacy, & research coordinator.

This position has a hiring range of $308,500 - $504,107.
